Very intriguing band from Portugal, this is wonderfully varied psychedelic jams with rhythmic pulses and improv. Starts off with This Heat-like looping, then suddenly it's Sonic Youth but spazzy. Side 2 and we're listening to Sunburned Hand of the Man. Insane. This is their first LP from 2005, get it while you still can... £10.99
Evil Moisture / Metalux (Split LP on Veglia)
Noise split on Belgian Veglia label. Evil Moisture is a bizarre barrage of squiggles. Metalux is even stranger and features one of Nautical Almanac (which maybe explains a lot). Great and odd. Silk-screened covers on recycled sleeves, each copy unique. Plus colour insert. £9.99
Birchville Cat Motel - Glass Harvest Mason / Embers Dying Gasp (Veglia 7")
2003 seven inch release from NZ free drone feller, prior to his recent metamorphosis into drone-rock god. This is old school free noise splutter and shimmer, quality stuff as always from Campbell Kneale. Limited to 370 copies, I have 5 and I doubt there are very many more left floating around by now. £4.99
